On most laptops you will find nice metallic stickers with the most useless information, like: "You have a processor" and "You bought this machine with a Microsoft operating system".
To get rid of these shameful stickers seems pretty hard: you can't seem to just peel them of because they are to rigid and you don't want to use any kind of chemical because, well, it's your new laptop. The solution is very easy though, but I still just wanted to post it before people start using knives or chemicals.
Use an overhead sheet or another piece of thin flexible plastic. If you bend the overhead sheet and place it at the edge of the sticker, you can get it beneath the sticker using a sawing motion.
Once you are under the sticker far enough, you can start pealing it back. If you do this two fast, you are left with some traces of the rubbery glue, but you can just rub that off later-on so don't worry.
Also, don't remove the license key from the bottom of your laptop. Apart from the fact that it is made to tear when you try it, removing that sticker will decrease the value of you laptop if you ever decide to sell it.
